For exactly one year now, we have been offering outstanding talents even more space during Berlin Fashion Week – both figuratively and literally: With RAUM.Berlin , the Fashion Council Germany gives exciting designers the opportunity to present their new collections in a unique way. From July 2nd to 5th , the event series, which brings fashion to life as an interactive exhibition, enters its third edition; once again, the format is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

“The overwhelming national and international response shows that RAUM.Berlin has set the right course. Young designers need visibility and networks. RAUM.Berlin has created precisely these opportunities. Creativity met entrepreneurial spirit. Progressive design met economic potential. Fashion design from Germany can be internationally convincing. That is why we supported RAUM.Berlin. And in doing so, we specifically strengthened young talent and Germany as a fashion hub,” said Gitta Connemann, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

As in previous seasons, the latest edition of RAUM.Berlin – this time held in the newly opened John Jahr House on Kurfürstenstrasse – is conceived as a competition. After numerous brands applied to participate, the designers of the labels ANNE BERNECKER , ELODIE CARSTENSEN , Inlé Studio , krobos , Laura de Sousa , lealabob , Lennart Bohle , Natascha von Hirschhausen , NAOMI TARAZI , PALMWINE IceCREAM , PANOS GOTSIS , PLNGNS , SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE , Sofia Hermens Fernandez , TATi, and VLADIMIR KARALEEV have now been selected as the winners.

Thus, the expert jury – this season Christiane Arp (Fashion Council Germany), Melanie Bauer (Melangance), Johanna Dramé (Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises), Herbert Hofmann (Highsnobiety), Scott Lipinski (Fashion Council Germany) and Kerstin Weng (Vogue Germany) – once again opted for an exciting potpourri of diverse styles.

RAUM.Berlin takes place from July 2nd to 5th at the John Jahr House, Kurfürstenstraße 72-74, 10787 Berlin. Each day, four labels will present their new collections within a defined time and location. Registration for this and other Berlin Fashion Week events is already open HERE .
