Last weekend from September 30th, 2022 to October 3rd, 2022, the DACH showroom for Paris Fashion Week took place again after a two-year break due to corona. Organized by Arne Eberle and his team as well as the Austrian Fashion Association (AFA), a total of 17 German and Austrian newcomer brands were presented in the DACH showroom in the heart of the Quartier du Temple in the Marais in Paris. This season FCG members Acceptance Letter Studio, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, Leinz Eyewear, Susumu Ai as well as the Berlin labels Anne Bernecker, Clara Colette Miramon, Halo Labels, Tata Christiane and Vladimir Karaleev from Germany were represented. The designers Astrid Deigner, Güç, Julia Skergeth, Modus Vivendi, Not Yet FYI, Published By, Rendl and Timna Weber were presented from Austria. Last Friday, September 30th, 2022, the official opening and get-together took place. In addition to international buyers and journalists, the designers of the showroom were also invited, who presented their collection to the specialist audience on site.
When the founders of the Berlin Showroom, the Austrian Fashion Association and Mode Suisse met during Fashion Week in Paris at the beginning of 2017, the DACH Showroom was born out of a shared desire to give aspiring fashion designers from Austria, Germany and Switzerland an international one to provide a stage. For years, those involved have been committed to presenting and promoting local fashion innovations on various international platforms. The DACH Showroom is a new, dynamic and inspiring showroom that offers a young generation of fashion designers the space and support to find their way in the global industry. Further information about the DACH showroom can be found at the following link. Supported by, among others, the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprisesrwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe
