Fashion Council Germany

Berlin, August 14, 2025: The Fashion Council Germany (FCG) invited around 50 select guests to an exclusive Fireside Summer Dinner at Manon - Brasserie Nouvelle on Thursday evening. Located in the stylish Roomers Hotel on Steinplatz, the new restaurant by renowned restaurateur Duc Ngo provided the perfect setting for personal exchange between designers, editors, and industry representatives. In the sophisticated atmosphere of the upscale restaurant, guests enjoyed select French specialties accompanied by premium drinks and engaged in stimulating conversations. Discussions focused particularly on current developments in the German fashion industry, its increasing internationalization, and the strengthening of the Berlin fashion community.

For the first time, a fireside dinner was held in Berlin during the summer, providing a perfect opportunity to bring together key industry players in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the official Berlin Fashion Week opening, and to deepen their dialogue on relevant topics. The event also provided additional impetus for networking and exchange within the German fashion scene. The evening was opened by Christiane Arp, Chairwoman of the Fashion Council Germany: “The German fashion scene is growing, naturally through creativity, but also through communication outside the Fashion Week calendar. Shared visions and active networks contribute to the spirit of community.”

Among the guests present were Bianca Rüssel (Haebmau Atelier), Carlo Bellmann (eBay), Claire Langhammer (FakePR), Marcel Schlutt (KALTBLUT), Mandie Bienek (Press Factory), Manuel Almeida Vergara (Berliner Zeitung), Katharina Pfannkuch (Madame, Spiegel, FAZ), and Johann Erhardt (Haderlump Atelier Berlin). They were followed by chef The Duc Ngo and co-founder of the Gekko Group and ROOMERS Berlin, Micky Rosen.

Since 2018, the FCG networking format “Firesidechat” has been taking place in various major cities throughout Germany, regularly bringing together the most important industry representatives for an exchange of ideas.
