With its opening dinner during Berlin Fashion Week, Fashion Council Germany brings together decision-makers from the German fashion industry. These include fashion brands, designers, editors, political decision-makers, etc.

For the third time, we are organizing RAUM.Berlin for Berlin Fashion Week: From July 2nd to 5th, 2026, we will give selected designers a place within our format to show their collections in a completely unexpected context – as a performance, installation or experience.

Berlin Fashion Week takes place twice a year in Berlin and presents the collections of up-and-coming and established designers over four consecutive days. The shows and presentations are held at various locations throughout the capital.

The fifth edition of our talk format 'Metamorphosis - dialogues about change', powered by eBay, will take place during Berlin Fashion Week in July 2026. Experts from the fields of fashion and the circular economy will discuss the various facets and necessary changes in the fashion industry.

With the official closing party, we celebrate the end of Berlin Fashion Week with the participating brands, international and national guests, the press and other stakeholders of the BFW.

In September 2026, several German labels will travel to Seoul/South Korea as part of a delegation trip organized by our internationalization project Berlin Fashion X International and supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, to expand their presence on the Korean market through workshops, showrooms and store visits.

The FASHION FUTURE conference takes place annually at the historic Dumfries House in Scotland. With various workshops, panel discussions, and guest lectures, the nearly 100 participants from Germany and the UK explore current topics in the fashion industry. The focus is particularly on school students, university students, and start-ups.

Through our educational project "Generation Future," students are given the opportunity each year to participate in a multi-day trip to Scotland. At Dumfries House – the educational center of The King's Foundation – they take part in workshops and the FASHION FUTURE conference to deepen their knowledge of the fashion industry and exchange ideas.

The annual general meeting takes place once a year. All FCG members and the board come together to review the past year and discuss/vote on possible changes.
