BETWEEN TRADITIONAL FASHION SHOW AND
INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION
Exploring creative boundaries, finding new forms: What already characterizes the design work of fashion designers takes on an expanded meaning at RAUM.Berlin. We invite designers to present their collections in an unexpected context – dissolving the boundaries between traditional fashion show and interactive installation, and finding their own forms of presentation.
Following its successful premiere in July 2025, RAUM.Berlin was first implemented as a competition in spring 2026 and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The format returns for its third edition from July 2nd to 5th, 2026, during Berlin Fashion Week SS27 – again in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
After numerous brands applied to participate, the designers of the labels ANNE BERNECKER , ELODIE CARSTENSEN , Inlé Studio , krobos , Laura de Sousa , lealabob , Lennart Bohle , Natascha von Hirschhausen , NAOMI TARAZI , PALMWINE IceCREAM , PANOS GOTSIS , PLNGNS , SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE , Sofia Hermens Fernandez , TATi , and VLADIMIR KARALEEV were selected as the winners. The expert jury – this season consisting of Christiane Arp (Fashion Council Germany), Melanie Bauer (Melangance), Johanna Dramé (Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises), Herbert Hofmann (Highsnobiety), Scott Lipinski (Fashion Council Germany), and Kerstin Wenig (Vogue Germany) – once again opted for an exciting mix of diverse styles.
RAUM.Berlin takes place from July 2nd to 5th at the John Jahr House, Kurfürstenstraße 72-74, 10787 Berlin. Each day, four labels will present their new collections within a defined time and location. Registration for this and other Berlin Fashion Week events is already open HERE .

THE BRANDS
PRE-LOVED. REIMAGINED.

Discover fashion with history – in eBay's Pre-Loved Exhibition, curated exclusively for RAUM.Berlin.
Selected vintage and second-hand pieces meet current design visions and show how inspiring circular fashion can be. Each creation tells a story of style and change. The Pre-Loved Exhibition is curated by Christian Stemmler.
Selected vintage and second-hand pieces meet contemporary design. Curated by Christian Stemmler, eBay's Pre-Loved Exhibition shows how creative and trend-setting circular fashion can be. It is part of the new RAUM.Berlin format, initiated by the Fashion Council Germany for Berlin Fashion Week.
In his curatorial work, Stemmler combines experience with a keen sense of style and zeitgeist. Influenced by the Berlin underground scene of the 1990s and early access to second-hand fashion, he continues to pursue a thoughtful, sustainable approach to clothing. For him, pre-loved fashion is an expression of individuality, beyond origin, status or trends.
This approach captures the spirit of the times. Awareness of a more sustainable approach to fashion is growing, especially among the younger generation. Many are turning to platforms such as eBay, sending a clear signal against short-lived consumption patterns. The trend towards archive fashion and the rediscovery of past collections highlight the creative and cultural potential of existing clothing.
RAUM.Berlin is picking up on this trend and making it the central theme of an innovative exhibition concept. The new format from the Fashion Council Germany stands for creative synergies between design, craftsmanship and sustainable thinking. The Pre-Loved Exhibition is not only a curatorial statement, but also an invitation to rethink fashion in a conscious, stylish and forward-looking way.
