JUST FASHION

Just Fashion is an EU-funded project that brings together 20 partners from 8 countries to promote innovative, circular business models, digitalisation and sustainable practices in the fashion industry. The Fashion Council Germany is coordinating a pilot project and networking the German fashion ecosystem to accelerate the industry's transformation towards greater sustainability and transparency.

FCG/VOGUE FASHION FUND

VOGUE Germany and the FCG are bringing the German edition of the Fashion Fund to Berlin. The FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund competition seeks young design talents with an innovative and creative approach.

FASHION X CRAFT

In partnership with eBay Germany and The King’s Foundation, young fashion and textile designers are supported. They participate in a program focusing on sustainability, circular economy, craftsmanship, and innovation.

STUDIO2RETAIL

The Fashion Council Germany together with the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprises have initiated the STUDIO2RETAIL format to connect end consumers with Berlin brands, retailers and studios during Berlin Fashion Week.

GENERATION ZUKUNFT

Fashion Council Germany and The PVH Foundation are joining forces for the new education program “Generation Zukunft” to educate German students about the fashion industry

BERLIN CONTEMPORARY

Berlin Contemporary is a format in which exceptional designers and brands are supported during Berlin Fashion Week to present themselves and their collections. The concept competition for Berlin Fashion Week in July 2024 is live!

FIRESIDECHATS

With the networking event FIRESIDECHATS, the Fashion Council Germany brings together decision-makers from the German fashion industry. Including: fashion brands, designers, editors, political decision-makers, etc.

FASHION ZUKUNFT

Bringing different generations together to promote a sustainable fashion industry - is the goal of our Fashion Future conference in partnership with The King's Foundation.

MUNICH FASHION AWARD

The Munich Fashion Award is aimed at up-and-coming fashion and accessory designers in Europe who have already successfully established themselves with their sustainable collections and products and can demonstrate positive market experience.

EBAY CIRCULAR FASHION FUND

The Circular Fashion Fund aims to bring new technologies and services to the market that not only have the potential to change the fashion industry in a sustainable way, but also make a real contribution to promoting the circular economy.

BERLIN FASHION X INTERNATIONAL

Berlin Fashion X International is an initiative to support sustainable business partnerships in the fashion industry between Berlin-based fashion companies and the USA, South Korea, and/or Japan. Through various formats, participating brands have the opportunity to establish new key contacts in these countries and strengthen their knowledge of market entry in order to establish themselves in the long term in the US, South Korean, and/or Japanese markets.

EUROPEAN FASHION ALLIANCE

EFA is a member-based alliance founded in 2022 where international fashion and textile organizations share experiences and drive change in their industry.

K3D

Fashion Council Germany is co-initiator and founding member of the k3d alliance.

SUSTAINABILITY REQUIREMENTS

The sustainability requirements of Copenhagen Fashion Week have been adapted by Berlin Fashion Week. To successfully apply for the concept competition in the Berlin Contemporary category and be included in the Official BFW Schedule, brands must meet the 19 minimum standards starting with the SS27 season.
