ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP
Since July 2023, the online marketplace eBay Germany has been an official partner of the Fashion Council Germany. The two organizations have since joined forces and support each other in their strategic, creative, and industry-related processes.
As the leading authority for the German fashion industry, the FCG (Fashion Club of Germany) has made it its mission to support fashion companies in Germany in their growth and to promote them, particularly with regard to sustainability. eBay, as one of Germany's largest online marketplaces, also plays a key role in offering retailers and individuals a trustworthy platform for the circular economy. With this partnership, eBay is sending a clear signal to be increasingly perceived as an enabler of the industry.

Since the start of the collaboration, several joint projects and initiatives have been successfully implemented. These include a joint trip to Scotland for the Fashion Future Conference, as well as participation in the student project Generation Future. Networking was a key focus at joint fireside dinners in cities such as Heidelberg, Hamburg, and Munich. Together, they also produced the "Study on the Status of German Fashion 2024," focusing on circularity and sustainability. During Berlin Fashion Week, eBay also supports the talk format "METAMORPHOSIS - dialogues about change" and the presentation format RAUM.Berlin. The FCG also supports the eBay Circular Fashion Fund with announcements, communication, implementation, and activation of the award. The promotion of young talent is also supported through the FASHION X CRAFT funding project.

METAMORPHOSIS - dialogues about change
The talk format takes place as part of Berlin Fashion Week. International and national experts from the fields of circular economy and the fashion industry exchange views on the various facets and necessary changes in the sector.
RAUM.Berlin
RAUM.Berlin is the new presentation format for Berlin Fashion Week. Selected designers showcase their collections in individually designed spaces. Each presentation is a statement, each label brings its own unique vision.
EBAY CIRCULAR FASHION FUND
The Circular Fashion Fund aims to bring new technologies and services to the market that not only have the potential to change the fashion industry in a sustainable way, but also make a real contribution to promoting the circular economy.
FIRESIDECHATS
With the networking event FIRESIDECHATS, the Fashion Council Germany brings together decision-makers from the German fashion industry. Including: fashion brands, designers, editors, political decision-makers, etc.

FASHION X CRAFT
In partnership with eBay Germany and The King’s Foundation, young fashion and textile designers are supported. They participate in a program focusing on sustainability, circular economy, craftsmanship, and innovation.
