NEWS: re.FASHION ACADEMY starts with strong partners and well-known speakers like Li Edelkoort

Berlin, September 26, 2023: At the beginning of September, the Fashion Council Germany launched the new educational platform re.FASHION ACADEMY. The aim of the re.FASHION ACADEMY is to provide fashion professionals with practical and future-oriented educational opportunities. In order to make the educational offering diverse, the re.FASHION ACADEMY has brought renowned speakers and strong partners on board. These include Ecoalf, the Hessnatur Foundation and Masjien, the consulting agency run by sustainable fashion industry experts and consultants Jasmien Wynants and Ann Claes.
In addition, the re.FASHION ACADEMY wants to guarantee its course participants exclusive insights into current topics with internationally known speakers such as Lidewij Edelkoort. Next February there will be a two-hour live webinar on the topic of Spring / Summer 2025 Fashion, Textiles & Color by Li Edelkoort and at the beginning of July there will be a seminar in Berlin on the topic of Autumn / Winter 2025 -26 Fashion, Textiles & Color by Li Edelkoort - each followed by Q&A session - with the world's most famous trend researcher. The Dutchwoman's webinar and seminar is open to anyone interested and can be booked now. Each participant will then receive a certificate.
The first live webinars of the re.FASHION ACADEMY will take place at the beginning of November. The main topics of the webinars, which all take place in English, range from artificial intelligence to circular economy to metaverse and thus cover a wide range of relevant discourses. The individual webinars are mostly held by speakers from the re.FASHION ACADEMY partners, such as Carolina Alvarez-Ossorio, Chief Marketing Officer of Ecoalf, or Jasmien Wynants and Ann Claes from Masjien. The experts at the Hessnatur Foundation are also offering a variety of courses this year that deal with the topic of LkSG:

Webinars on soft skills are also offered, such as Master the Art of Public Speaking and Presentation Skills on January 31, 2024 by the moderator Rabea Schif. In addition to webinars, this year the re.FASHION ACADEMY is also offering (online) seminars and master classes that enable a more detailed discussion of a topic. From 2024, the re.FASHION ACADEMY will be expanded to include coaching offers, e-learning packages and podcast episodes. At the same time, the re.FASHION ACADEMY also plans to offer courses with partners and experts across Europe and thus maximize its educational offerings.
