NEWS: UGG® AND THE FASHION COUNCIL GERMANY PRESENT THE UGG® CULTURE CHANGEMAKER PRIZE

UGG® and Fashion Council Germany announce the UGG® CULTURE CHANGEMAKER PRIZE for 2023. An initiative dedicated to supporting and promoting the next generation of emerging fashion designers who strive for a more sustainable and inclusive future and whose vision and DNA embody the bold, expressive nature of UGG® and the FCG.
UGG® and the FCG are proud to present the 5 nominees for the UGG® CULTURE CHANGEMAKER PRIZE, selected by a jury of international experts:
The designers are now developing a visionary concept for the UGG® “Classic Mini” boot, in which form and function are to be viewed through the lens of sustainability. These will be presented in the Berlin Salon during Berlin Fashion Week in July 2023.
A jury of experts will then select three finalists who will create a prototype of their concept, which will then be evaluated according to the criteria of innovation, creative excellence and sustainable implementation. The best concept will be selected as the winner in October and will receive prize money of EUR 40,000. Together with a business plan, the prize money will be used as an investment in their future. The winning creation will be presented during Berlin Fashion Week in January 2024.
