The Berlin Press Days have become a real highlight on our calendar. Twice a year, the city's showrooms open their doors, transforming Berlin into the meeting place for the German fashion, press, and communications world for two days. Agencies present their clients' latest collections – and amidst racks of clothes and coffee cups, conversations arise that drive the industry forward. As the Fashion Council Germany, we consciously use the Press Days to visit our members, see their work firsthand, and – most importantly – engage in dialogue. Many of the participating agencies are themselves FCG members, or they showcase brands that are. At the spring Press Days, we visited a variety of showrooms – and here's what we discovered:
Press Factory

First stop: Press Factory ! The agency, whose co-owner Mandie Bienek is a founding member of the FCG and a current board member, presented, among other things, the latest collections from our members Panos Gotsis and Esther Perbandt – two Berlin brands known for their exceptional craftsmanship and sophisticated designs. There was also an interactive station by Pepe Jeans where visitors could personalize a denim bag with a custom laser print. The agency also used the occasion to celebrate a personal milestone: Press Factory is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! They kicked off the festivities right in their showroom with a touch of nostalgia: one corner was decorated with posters of pop stars, an old CRT television, and fitting Y2K décor, reminding everyone where their journey began in the early 2000s .
Bold

At the Bold agency Our focus was on one FCG member: Amazon Fashion . The global player demonstrated in Berlin that it takes the local fashion scene seriously – and Bold provided the perfect setting. We took a close look at the new arrivals and had some interesting conversations.
haebmau.ATELIER

haebmau.ATELIER – itself an FCG member – is known for its curated, atmospheric showroom, and this time was no exception. Among the displays were the worlds of our members MCM and Zalando . MCM impressed with a selection of luxury bags and accessories – from classic to contemporary. Zalando, in turn, offered a glimpse into the platform's wide variety: visitors could discover a curated selection of different labels and styles.
KMB Creative Network

Afterwards, we went to our member agency, KMB Creative Network . There, among many other brands, we were able to view Natalie Grassi's latest collection – elegant yet playful jewelry with a clear sense of wearability. There was also a photo booth, a coffee bar, and delicious snacks!
Fake PR

Special thanks go to FakePR – FCG member and organizer of the entire Press Days. The fact that they not only achieved this logistical feat but also created a beautiful showroom deserves applause! Among the products showcased was FCG member Carl Friedrik , a Scandinavian label for leather goods and travel accessories. Elegant, functional, timeless – and perfectly presented in this setting.
Silk Relations

The highlight of our day was provided by FCG member Silk Relations . In addition to their clients' collections, two charming experience stations awaited them: at one table, visitors could personalize bags made from a furniture brand's sofa fabric using iron-on transfers, while at the other station, matcha and coffee were available to go – served in colorful cups that visitors could decorate themselves.
The Berlin Press Days take place twice a year; the next edition is planned for autumn. We're already looking forward to strolling through the showrooms again, discovering new collections, and engaging in stimulating conversations. And who knows: perhaps next time FCG won't just be a guest – but right in the thick of things with its own showroom. We'll see…
