Berlin Fashion Week has undergone some fundamental changes since its debut in 2007. What do you consider the most significant transformation of the Berlin Fashion Week format to date?

BERLIN CONTEMPORARY and the direct support of designers based in Germany.

Since last season, Berlin Fashion Week has been undergoing a significant shift in focus: innovative formats, young designers, and sustainable concepts are now at the forefront. How do you assess this positive change for Berlin Fashion Week in an international comparison?

Berlin inspires us with its rich and complex history of activism, its diverse cultures and identities, its thriving arts and culture scene, its vibrant nightlife, its appreciation for innovation and experimentation, and its remarkable resilience in the face of challenges. All these aspects contribute to a sense of openness, acceptance, and creativity that makes Berlin an inspiring city and influences our work. Berlin is the breeding ground for our work and the gateway to our community.

What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week?

To present our upcoming SS24 collection 'Father, Our Lord' on July 11th and to show our audience what we have been working on for the past 6 months.
