To kick off Berlin Fashion Week, DER BERLINER SALON took place last Monday, July 10, 2023, in the Kronprinzenpalais Unter den Linden. In addition to the focus on German design talent from fashion, manufacturing and product design, the holistic approach of the Berlin Salon was a major focus. DER BERLINER SALON was implemented in partnership with the Berlin Senate for Economics, Energy and Enterprises. The designs and collections of a total of 51 participants were presented at this year's group exhibition.

In addition, the five nominees for our UGG® CULTURE CHANGEMAKER PRIZE were presented to the public in partnership with Californian lifestyle brand UGG® as part of the BERLINER SALON. The following five nominees are Haderlump, Kasia Kucharska, Marke, Namilia and SF1OG.

Each designer, who looks at form and function through the lens of sustainability, exhibited elements of their visionary concept, inspired by the UGG®️ "Classic Mini" boot. The focus was on conceptual interpretation, accompanied by a look from each designer's current collection.

The group exhibition was curated by Christiane Arp and took place from July 10 to 11, 2023 as part of Berlin Fashion Week.
