The Fashion Council Germany announces the fourth delegation trip to New York City as part of the Berlin Fashion X International (BFXI) project for April 2025. The initiative is supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprises as well as the European Union and offers Berlin designers, agencies and fashion tech companies in particular a valuable opportunity to explore international markets and make important industry contacts. The upcoming delegation trip will take place from April 7th to 11th, 2025 and will again be accompanied by up to ten designers and entrepreneurs, mostly based in Berlin.
Following the success of previous BFXI delegation trips, most recently in October 2024 with a group of nine emerging designers, the upcoming program will offer participants insights into the US fashion market as well as a series of tailored workshops and advice on entering the market. Networking events with leading industry representatives, including retail strategists, PR experts and US brand developers, prepare participants for a sustainable market launch. During visits to renowned fashion locations and retail concepts, the delegation will gain extensive insights into the US market from well-known players in the New York fashion scene.
With the trip, the Fashion Council Germany is promoting new transatlantic partnerships and strengthening German designers and fashion companies that are aiming to enter the US market. Applications for the delegation trip to New York City in April 2025 are possible from now until February 7, 2025 HERE. In autumn 2025, a delegation trip to Seoul in South Korea is also planned, during which the Asian market will also be explored for the first time. Further information and insights into the last delegation trips and the initiative can be found at www.berlinfashioninternational.com.
Berlin Fashion X International is supported by a state program that is financed from ERDF funds and from funds from the state of Berlin.
