Following a successful launch in April of this year, the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) is pleased to announce the second edition of the FCG FUTURE MINDS SCHOLARSHIP . The initiative, launched through the educational platform re.FASHION ACADEMY , promotes visionary design and business talent from Germany and supports them in actively shaping the future of the fashion industry. Interested fashion and business bachelor graduates from Germany who want to actively shape the future of the fashion industry are eligible to apply.

The second edition of the scholarship project is once again being implemented in cooperation with the renowned international fashion school Istituto Marangoni . One scholarship will be awarded for a Master's degree in either Fashion Design at the London campus or Fashion Start-Up at the Milan campus. With the FCG FUTURE MINDS SCHOLARSHIP , the Fashion Council Germany sets another milestone in its mission to support emerging talent on their career path. The scholarships are part of its commitment to creating innovative educational opportunities that foster creativity, sustainability, and entrepreneurial thinking in the fashion industry.

“Our goal is not only to train the talents of tomorrow, but also to provide them with the platforms and tools to actively contribute to a sustainable and innovative future for the fashion industry,” explains Scott Lipinski, CEO of the Fashion Council Germany.

The two scholarships are each worth approximately €30,000 and also include a €500 voucher for educational programs at the re.FASHION ACADEMY, as well as extensive communication services through the FCG and Istituto Marangoni channels. The Master's program begins in October 2025 and runs until spring 2027. Applications for the two scholarships can be submitted via the Istituto Marangoni website from December 16, 2024, to March 14, 2025. The selection of the two winners will once again be made by a distinguished panel of experts. For London, this panel consists of Christiane Arp (FCG), Kerstin Weng (Vogue Germany), Marie Lueder (LUEDER), Noorin Khamisani (Istituto Marangoni), and Roel de Cooman (haebmau.ATELIER). For Milan, the jury comprises Diana Murek (Istituto Marangoni), Julius Weissenborn (Haderlump), LouLou Berg (Berg Communications), Mandy Krüger (eBay Germany), and Scott Lipinski (FCG).

As a kick-off to the second edition, the two institutions are hosting a digital webinar on December 16, 2024 , in which the two Master's programs will be presented.
