The Fashion Council Germany, the German fashion industry's advocacy group, is opening its network to non-members for the first time. Since the beginning of January, startups and industry professionals have been able to use the FCG Club , the FCG's internal online network , without formal membership. The FCG Club is a free platform available to interested parties after a brief review and approval process. Startups founded no more than five years ago are eligible for membership. The platform is also freely accessible to all freelance designers, journalists, and stylists in the fashion and creative industries. They can use it to publish their news, events, and job postings.

The FCG Club has been actively used by official members for over a year. Now, it will be used even more intensively and will soon be available to all club members as a mobile app. The app offers all the functions of the FCG Club on mobile devices, making access to the FCG online network even easier. Throughout 2024, the app will be used to present and announce more internal FCG events, news, and projects.

However, in order to continue to secure more benefits for FCG members, Clubbers receive reduced benefits than official FCG members: Membership benefits such as invitation quotas to networking events, discounts and digital media subscriptions, etc., remain reserved for FCG members.

The launch of our own FCG Club app is an important step for us to further stimulate exchange among members and to keep the industry informed about internal FCG matters .”
