On Monday, August 5th, the Fashion Council Germany once again hosted a FCGFIRESIDECHAT, this time in Munich. The invited guests from the fashion and creative industries met on the exclusive roof terrace of Hartmanns, which offered a unique view over the rooftops of Munich. Franciacorta sparkling wines provided excellent drinks. Christiane Arp, FCG President and Editor-in-Chief of VOGUE Germany, opened the evening with Editor-in-Chief of Harper's BAZAAR, Kerstin Schneider. In their speeches, they discussed the relevance of promotion, networking and visibility of the German fashion industry, as well as political lobbying. Furthermore, the around 60 guests in attendance were welcomed with speeches by FCG board member Olaf Schmidt (Messe Frankfurt) and Simone Hartmann (Hartmann Consultants). The event was an interesting networking evening characterized by interdisciplinary exchange.
