The first edition took place in 2019 at the invitation of the Prince's Foundation as part of a three-day program including panel talks, workshops and factory visits at the Foundation's Dumfries House in Scotland. Highlight of the conference: His Royal Highness Prince Charles speaks personally and in German with an extensive video message - and appeals to all participants to work for a sustainable future. Prince Charles is considered a pioneer in sustainability. The Prince of Wales has been using his unique position to campaign for a green future for fifty years.

Against the backdrop of global challenges such as climate change, deforestation and marine pollution, Prince Charles and his organisations have been committed to a sustainable and diverse future from the very beginning and are thus committed to the same values ​​as the Fashion Council Germany.
