On June 19, 2022, two premieres took place in Frankfurt am Main: Frankfurt-based fashion designer and member of the Fashion Council Germany, René Storck, of the eponymous luxury label, presented his Resort 2023 collection for the first time in his hometown as the opening event of Frankfurt Fashion Week. At the same time, the guests from business, politics, fashion, and the press celebrated the premiere in a historically unique location: For the first time, a fashion show was held in the Deutsche Börse (German Stock Exchange), which is part of the venerable Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) building. The stock exchange hall symbolically represents the national and international radiance of the metropolis on the Main River.

Designer René Storck has lived and worked in Frankfurt am Main since 1991 and has made an international name for himself with his German-made collections. His designs stand for the highest quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design with sophisticated tailoring. The Resort 2023 collection, presented on the stock exchange floor, consisted of 30 looks for men and women and was styled by Christiane Arp, Chairwoman of the Fashion Council Germany, and her former colleague Nicola Knels, Fashion Director at Vogue Germany. The collection can be pre-ordered immediately at the René Storck Store Frankfurt and will be available from October in the new online store and in select multi-brand stores.

In addition to high-ranking representatives from the city of Frankfurt am Main and the state of Hesse, the following personalities were invited: Christoph Kraus (Deutsche Börse), Detlef Braun (Messe Frankfurt), Julia Malik (actress), Melanie Nolte (Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Nina Suess (influencer), Oliver Schwebel (Frankfurt Economic Development Agency), Patrick Pendiuk (Vogue Germany), Petra Pfaller (Hubert Burda Media), Renata Bandov (Deutsche Börse), and many more . A fireside dinner followed at Occhio d'Oro.

The Fashion Council Germany would like to thank the Frankfurt Economic Development Corporation, the City of Frankfurt and the State of Hesse for their cooperation, as well as the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the German Stock Exchange for providing the premises.
