The one-week event format Studio2Retail has already taken place for the second time at Berlin Fashion Week. 85 participating brands and stores invited people to sustainable shopping events and fashion installations in the week from March 14 to 19, 2022.



In addition, donations in kind for the people in Ukraine could be made at selected stores, studios and ateliers this week. Money could also be donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. for emergency aid on site.



After a successful start of Studio2Retail on Monday, March 14, 2022 at PLATTE.Berlin, another 85 participating brands and stores invited end consumers to sustainable shopping events, pop-ups and fashion installations in the week from March 14 to 19, 2022. The Fashion Council Germany organized the one-week event format for Berlin Fashion Week for the second time. During the season, the Fashion Council Germany also called for donations in kind for the people of Ukraine at selected stores, studios and ateliers of the Studio2Retail network. Throughout the week, the Fashion Council Germany provided daily information about the necessary donations in kind, which could be handed in at the participating locations during regular opening hours. In addition, monetary donations for the alliance of German aid organizations Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. could be made conveniently via QR code at the locations.



As part of Studio2Retail, prize money totaling 60,000 euros was awarded to creative, sustainable and innovative event formats in advance to support stationary retail and local designers. The winning concepts from Nella Beljan Showroom & Gallery, Richert Beil, SF 1 OG and William Fan , as well as Bondy Store, Gate 194, Fiona Bennett and Susumu AI  have invited people to a wide variety of formats this week:



The Berlin designer with Chinese roots William Fan showed his new collection on Tuesday evening, March 15, 2022, at the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart. The newcomer designer Rosa Marga Dahl from the label SF 1 OG presented her runway debut on Thursday morning, March 17, 2022, and drew attention to the issue of flight and displacement with her collection. Judith Bondy from the label of the same name also showed her new collection in the form of a fashion show and presentation on Thursday evening at Platte.Berlin. The designer duo Richert Beil presented their collection on Friday, March 18, 2022, as part of a live performance that spread via social media, blurring the boundaries between digital and real life with live shopping. Nella Beljan, Gate 194, Fiona Bennett and Susumu AI invited people to showroom events and pop-up stores this week, where, in addition to purchasing selected collection items and designer pieces, they also called for donations of money and goods for the people of Ukraine.
