Committees

The committees of the Fashion Council Germany e.V. are made up of members who are experts in a specific field, have a great interest in the area or would like to become more involved in a topic. Each committee is managed independently by its members and represented and coordinated by one or more committee speakers. The members of the committee undertake to organize regular meetings and work on the common mission - this is done on a voluntary basis. As a new body, a committee provides advice to the Fashion Council Germany, develops guidelines for its specialist area, develops ideas and shows new possibilities.

The first committee of the Fashion Council Germany was founded in December 2022. The SusTech (Sustainability and Technology) committee deals with topics related to sustainability, technology and innovation in the fashion industry. The committee provides advice to the Fashion Council Germany and will actively help guide the mission of the Fashion Council Germany in the future. This can be implemented in the form of developed guidelines, project ideas, education programs and as a resource for individual questions.
