BELLE IKAT

Fashion Brand

Isabella Stadler – born in Armenia, grew up in Israel – traveled the world after studying tourism and brought home numerous finds. Including ikat fabrics from seamstresses from the Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan. Together with them, Stadler now produces blouses, dresses and tunics. Each piece from the Mannheim label Belle Ikat is available in a maximum of 20 copies, because each of the 40 centimeter narrow Ikat fabric panels made of silk threads is unique - made by hand and dyed with natural dyes. Fair pay is a matter of course for Stadler; she regularly visits the craftsmen on site. She also supports the organizations Saheli Women and Terre des Femmes.
