COLRS was founded in 2017 by Haitian-German designer Zec Elie-Meire and has been dedicated to the gentle breeze of summer from the very beginning. Inspired by his multicultural background and a mix of fun-loving and punk influences, Zec has developed a distinctive, almost childlike and naïve signature style. His journey began with simple upcycling projects in his childhood bedroom and eventually led him to study menswear tailoring at Esmod in Paris, where he honed his design and tailoring skills. COLRS made its runway debut in Lagos, Nigeria in 2020, followed by a second show in Lagos in 2021. The brand's first steps in Berlin were marked by its participation in the New Wave Showroom during Reference Studios' intervention in July 2024, followed by the Berlin International Sales Showroom in Paris, also by Reference Studios, in September 2024
