Constantly engaging with a changing world, designer Marie Lueder founded her brand in 2019 as a performance space exploring new male identities. Lueder's experience as a seamstress at the Hamburg State Opera instilled in her the need for an emotional connection to create bespoke pieces. Her collections are a hybrid of sportswear and functional aesthetics, complemented by an insane attention to sartorial details, mixed with the memory of her passion for medieval silhouettes. She explores medieval armor based on the desire for protection, freedom of expression and emphasis on the wearer's individuality. To this vision, which aims to unite past, present and future, LUEDER adds a sustainable attitude for the brand as it produces with organic denim, recycled jersey and regenerated nylon. In this context, the designer took part in the University of Cambridge Accelerator Program for Sustainable Leadership.
