Rayas Collective was founded in Berlin in 2022 by sisters-in-law Luisa Kahlfeldt and Consuelo Campos Kahlfeldt. The company collaborates with weavers from remote Salvadoran villages to create traditional handwoven basket bags in various sizes, patterns, and colors.

With their basket bags, Rayas Collective aims to promote El Salvador's lesser-known cultural heritage, preserve traditional craftsmanship, and, above all, empower female artisans to achieve financial independence.
