NEWS: GmbH wins the FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund 2026

Berlin, March 26, 2026 : On Thursday, March 26, the Fashion Council Germany and Vogue Germany announced the winning label of the second FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund. Berlin-based Brand GmbH impressed the expert jury and can look forward to receiving the funding initiative for young design talents and up-and-coming fashion labels. They accepted the award at an exclusive dinner with 80 industry guests at the sly restaurant in Berlin.

GmbH are the second-place winners of the FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund. They prevailed against numerous submissions and the other six finalists: Balletshofer, Gerrit Jacob, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, Kitschy Couture, Laura Gerte, and Lou de Bètoly.

This year's expert jury, consisting of Scott Lipinski, CEO of the Fashion Council Germany, Christiane Arp, Chairwoman of the Board of the Fashion Council Germany, Kerstin Weng, Head of Editorial Content Vogue Germany, Patrick Pendiuk, Fashion Features Director Vogue Germany, Katrin Schneider, Marketing Director DE/CH of KIKO Milano and Mumi Haiati, CEO and Founder of Reference Studios, was impressed not only by the high level of quality and professionalism of the label, but also by the clear stance taken by the GmbH.

Huseby have created a distinctive world with their label – precise in craftsmanship, consistent in their approach, and confident in their aesthetic. It is precisely this quality that we want to highlight and further support with the FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund,” said Scott Lipinski, CEO of the Fashion Council Germany.

Kerstin Weng, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Germany, says: “GmbH has been consistently impressive for many seasons and on various levels. The award ceremony took place at sly in Berlin with around 80 industry professionals in attendance, including Eugen Bauder-Taibi, Lamin Leroy Gibba, Karin Hanczewski, Florence Kasumba, Wana Limar, and Emma Schweiger. The second edition of the FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund is endowed with €50,000. In addition, it includes a comprehensive business mentoring program with leading industry experts and the production of a dedicated fashion show for Berlin Fashion Week in summer 2026, made possible by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. The prize money is sponsored by KIKO Milano. The international beauty brand is also the model styling partner for the winning show.

About the FCG/Vogue Fashion Fund:

The FCG/Vogue Fashion Fund was launched in 2024 by the Fashion Council Germany and Vogue Germany to specifically support promising fashion designers and labels in Germany. The focus is primarily on designers who pursue particularly innovative approaches. The first recipient of the award in 2024 was Berlin-based designer Kasia Kucharska. Fashion designers and labels based in Germany that have been in business for at least two and no more than 15 years are eligible to participate in the FCG/VOGUE Fashion Fund competition. Partners of the initiative include the beauty brand KIKO Milano, which contributes the €50,000 prize money and acts as the makeup partner for the winner's show, and the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, which finances the winning label's fashion show.
