NEWS: Networking Event of the European Fashion Alliance and Certilogo brings together the European Fashion industry

Brussels, 05 December 2024: At the invitation of the European Fashion Alliance (EFA) and Certilogo, a networking event took place following the EFA Fashion Policy Round Table in Brussels. This provided an opportunity for the participants to deepen the learnings of the Fashion Policy Round Table and to further elaborate on the findings on the status of the fashion industry. Thematically, the two discussion topics of the round table were followed: Status of the fashion industry: challenges and needs and Future of the fashion industry: opportunities and solutions. The networking event was hosted by the software company Certilogo, industry leader in digital product passport technology and thus a strong ally of the European Fashion Alliance. In an introductory keynote, founder and CEO Michele Casucci explained how Digital Product Passport (DDP) technology connects products and consumers around the world, giving them a transparent view.
The event brought together key fashion industry stakeholders, policymakers and press representatives. Among them were Annika Mohr Storfält, Global Sustainability Director of BALENCIAGA, Costanza Maramotti, Member of the Board and Sustainability Committee at MAX MARA, as well as many members and the board of the European Fashion Alliance.
The report "The Status of European Fashion" including the "EFA Manifesto of Recommendations" and a summary of the "EFA Fashion Policy Round Table" will be published on the EFA and FCG websites.t.
