Anyone reading national or international press coverage of Berlin Fashion Week will repeatedly encounter similar comments: “A platform for young talents, new ideas, creative processes and personal styles” (TextilWirtschaft), an “independent location that attracts international industry insiders and up-and-coming talents alike” (Elle Germany), “a dynamic mix of emerging talents and international names” ( models.com ) – an original fashion week “that can serve as a role model for others” (Vogue Business).

And so, the program of the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week (BFW), taking place from July 2nd to 5th, 2026 , is once again characterized by its remarkable diversity – from collection presentations by young labels to fashion shows by established brands, from experimental designs to time-tested tailoring. Registration for trade visitors is now open via the accreditation form .

The central element is the runway shows, which will take place at a variety of iconic locations throughout the city, including the ICC Berlin, Tempelhof Airport, and the Hotel Adlon. As in previous seasons, the shows by 19 brands are made possible by funding from the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Project Future as part of the BERLIN CONTEMPORARY concept competition: Andrej Gronau , BARRAGÁN , BUZIGAHILL , DAGGER , Fruché GmbH , Haderlump Atelier Berlin , John Lawrence Sullivan , Kasia Kucharska , Laura Gerte , LUEDER , Marke , Milk of Lime , Orange Culture , SF1OG , Selva , UNVAIN , William Fan , and Clara Colette Miramon .

Beyond the concept competitions, numerous other designers will be presenting their fashion shows throughout the week, including well-known BFW names such as Kilian Kerner , Marina Hoermanseder , and Rebekka Ruétz ; the brands #DAMUR , KOLYA BOGATYREV , Impari , Nowrubi , and sample030 will also be represented with their own shows. For the first time, guests can also look forward to fashion shows from the Warsaw label MARIUSZ PRZYBYLSKI and the Berlin brands MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER and Studio Taskin – three young labels that have not yet graced the BFW runways. But Berlin Fashion Week starts even earlier – and also showcases the work of graduates.

This season marks the second time the BERLIN CURATED funding project will be realized with a fashion show: The exhibition showcases the work of scholarship recipients who, supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Project Future and implemented by the agency 0049x, completed a project year of workshops and mentoring. Additionally, fashion shows by graduates of three Berlin fashion schools – the University of the Arts , the Lette Verein , and the Weißensee Academy of Art – are being produced byPlatte.Berlin .

But during Berlin Fashion Week, fashion isn't just presented on the catwalk: Numerous formats, such as THE BERLINER SALON , with which organizer NOWADAYS and curator Christiane Arp bring together the ideas of very different designers in a group exhibition, complement the program with original presentation formats. As part of the STUDIO2RETAIL concept competition, corresponding formats from the five brands Esther Perbandt , Ioannes , Lou de Bètoly , PLAID-À-PORTER , and Richert Beil will also be presented. made possible by the funding of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Project Future , as well as the staging by Berlin designer Dennis Chuene by the Berliner Sparkasse , all of which are aimed not only at the specialist audience, but also at the interested public.

eBay Germany and the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) are once again inviting both industry experts and interested private individuals to the conference series “METAMORPHOSIS – dialogues about change” , which this season will focus on topics of circularity and sustainability, innovation and technology.

Berlin Fashion Week will be framed by an official opening dinner in the Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace and a closing party at the Weekend Club on Alexanderplatz. From the legendary rooftop terrace on the 17th floor, guests will enjoy a view of a fashion hub where "new perspectives and emerging talents are welcome" (TextilWirtschaft).

The preliminary calendar for Berlin Fashion Week SS27 is now available and will be continuously updated with new dates; the accreditation form for trade visitors is already open.
