Photographers, take note! For the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week from June 30th to July 3rd, 2025, the Fashion Council Germany is once again inviting participants to its Streetstyle Photo Competition – offering up-and-coming photography talents a platform to showcase their best BFW snapshots.

We are looking for young photographers from Berlin – whether students, graduates, or established professionals – with a flair for aesthetics, fashion, and capturing the perfect moment. Participants are invited to capture special street style moments during Berlin Fashion Week and submit a total of five photos in different categories .

This is how participation works

Show us how you see the Berlin fashion scene! Use the BFW show calendar ( HERE ) to find out about exciting locations and events and to capture the styles of the attendees. A top-class jury of experts will decide on the best submission.

The winner will be commissioned as the official BFW photographer for the next Berlin Fashion Week in February 2026* and included in the FCG database – with the prospect of collaborating on future projects with the Fashion Council Germany. In addition, the winning street style series will be published by the German edition of INSTYLE – in print and online.

The winner will be announced in mid-July.

Images that need to be submitted

• The submission must contain a series of 5 photos, including: a “Close Up Beauty” shot, a “Paparazzi” shot and a “Frontal Full Outfit” shot.

• The photos must be submitted both individually and collectively in a single PDF file.

Participation requirements

• Participants must be available and resident in Berlin during the competition period.

• Participants must be available and resident in Berlin for the upcoming BFW in February 2026.
