Last week, Vogue's "FASHION. FORWARD" talk event brought together local and international stakeholders to discuss the future of German fashion. Vogue invited decision-makers from the fashion industry, designers, and emerging talents to the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich to discuss the future of German and German-language fashion. Kerstin Weng, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Germany, spoke with Anna Wintour (Chief Content Officer, Condé Nast and Global Editorial Director, Vogue) and Edward Enninful (Editor-in-Chief, British Vogue and European Editorial Director, Vogue) about the great potential of the local fashion scene and the leading role Vogue plays in generating visibility and contributing to its reputation. Among the invited guests were Scott Lipinski, CEO of the Fashion Council Germany, and selected members such as Malaika Raiss, Nicoline Woehrle of Dr. Hauschka, René Storck, and many more.

VOGUE Germany also presented looks from emerging and established German and German-speaking designers and brands, including Florentina Leitner, Kasia Kucharska, Gerrit Jacob, and others. The curation was supported by Reference Studios as creative advisor. Designer Kasia Kucharska is one of five nominees for the UGG® CULTURE CHANGEMAKER PRIZE , which the Fashion Council Germany, in partnership with the Californian lifestyle brand, has launched for the second time. Also curated by Reference Studios was designer Sia Arnika, who will be participating in Berlin Contemporary for the second time at the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week from July 10-13, 2023.
