The eBay Circular Fashion Fund is taking place in Germany for the first time this year. In collaboration with the Fashion Council Germany (FCG), eBay is using this competition to promote innovative ideas that will transform the fashion industry towards sustainability and a circular economy. Young designers and established brands, as well as startups and tech companies with ideas on how to sustainably influence the fashion industry, are all eligible to apply.
In Germany, a total of €100,000 in prize money will be awarded, divided among three winners: First place receives €50,000, second and third place each receive €25,000. A jury of top-class industry experts will select the three winners.
The jury places particular emphasis on four key areas when evaluating the submitted projects: innovation, circular economy, scalability, and sustainability. The ten most promising companies or projects will be invited to pitch to the jury, which is composed of leading industry experts.
