His Majesty King Charles III and his wife Camilla are currently on a state visit to Germany - the first time since taking office as King. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier invited important players in German business and politics to the state banquet in honor of the British royal couple at Bellevue Palace on Wednesday evening. The Fashion Council was present as a representative of the German fashion industry to celebrate the good relationship with the United Kingdom.

The evening was a sign of friendship and solidarity between the two countries. His Majesty King Charles III also emphasized this in his speech: "I can only assure you that in the time that I will be granted as King, I will do everything I can to further strengthen our relations."

The Fashion Council Germany has been working very closely with His Majesty's "The Prince's Foundation" in Scotland on various initiatives since 2018.
