As part of the German Sustain Concepts funding program initiated by the Fashion Council Germany, the Council, The Prince’s Foundation and Swarovski invited people to a series of sustainability workshops and panel talks at the renowned Dumfries House in Scotland. The participating brands – oft, Lara Krude, Phylyda and Working Title – were among those invited and were able to expand their knowledge on topics such as “Natural Dye Methods” and “Heritage Yarns” through to “3D & Circular Knitting” and “Upcycled Crystals” and to discuss them with industry experts such as Walter Wählt (adidas), Sarah Mower (US Vogue), Inga Griese (ICON/Welt), Christiane Arp (Vogue Germany), Patrick Grant and Nadja Swarovski (Swarovski). Highlight: His Royal Highness Prince Charles invited people to a private reception in the castle.
