Together with Be an Angel eV At the beginning of December, we hosted the second edition of the Fireside Dinner at the restaurant founded by Be an Angel. Kreuzberger Himmel . Be an Angel launched Kreuzberger Himmel in 2018. This restaurant exemplifies that integration is a win-win situation for everyone. Kreuzberger Himmel reflects the work that Be an Angel has been doing as an association since 2015: the economic and social integration of people with refugee experience. The evening highlighted not only the art, but also the strong social commitment of those involved.

As a leading authority in the German fashion industry, the FCG is committed to promoting fashion as a cultural and creative asset. The event offers an opportunity to leverage this reach within the fashion sector for humanitarian purposes. Together with Be an Angel eV, art and fashion are combined to strengthen social engagement and raise awareness of social challenges. The dinners marked the beginning of the collaboration between the FCG and Be an Angel eV. The Berlin-based organization, which operates globally, has been supporting refugees in need since 2015. Particularly since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Be an Angel eV has been actively involved with targeted measures on the ground, including evacuations, the delivery of aid supplies, and support for traumatized children. With this dinner, the Fashion Council Germany sends an important message about the fashion industry's responsibility and simultaneously promotes the idea that fashion and art can work together to create positive change.

The FCG networking format “Firesidechat” has been taking place in various major cities in Germany since 2018 and regularly brings together the most important industry representatives for an exchange of ideas.
