Alena studied communication science and gained early experience with project-based work, organizational processes, and mediation in an intercultural organization.

During her subsequent studies in cultural work, she deepened her knowledge of project management and worked on various projects focusing on sustainability in the fashion and creative industries, including an educational project to raise awareness among young people about their impact on the environment and society.

An internship with the Berlin Fashion Week team led Alena to the Fashion Council Germany, where she has regularly supported the hospitality team during Berlin Fashion Week ever since.

Since March 2026, she has worked as a Project Manager for Sustainability, Responsibility, and Education at the Fashion Council Germany. In this role, she oversees, among other things, the educational project "Generation Future," which provides students with insights into the fashion industry.
