Alena studied communication science and gained early experience with project-based work, organizational processes, and intercultural communication at an intercultural association. During her subsequent studies in cultural work, she deepened her knowledge of project management and focused on sustainability in the fashion and creative industries in various research projects, including an educational project to raise awareness among young people about their impact on the environment and society. Through an internship with the Berlin Fashion Week team, Alena joined the Fashion Council Germany and has since regularly supported the hospitality team during Berlin Fashion Week.

Since March 2026, she has been working as a Project Manager for Sustainability, Responsibility, and Education at the Fashion Council Germany. In this role, she oversees, among other things, the educational project "Generation Future," which provides students with insights into the fashion industry.
