After completing his Master's degree in Business Administration at Ghent University, Sander began his career at Flanders DC, where he worked as an assistant on fashion projects related to technology and sustainability. He then supported the Belgian label Namacheko during Paris Fashion Week in 2020. During his nearly three years at L'Oréal Benelux, he gained further experience in sales, marketing, and business analytics.

In January 2023, he moved to Berlin and joined the Fashion Council Germany to work on projects such as Fashion X Craft, Fashion Zukunft, and Berlin Fashion Week.
