LUCKYNELLY – BERLIN is a vegan luxury handbag label from Berlin, founded in 2012 by fashion designer Christine Rochlitz.

The focus of their work is on sculptural handbags and accessories, as well as the ongoing exploration of innovative, animal-free materials. Since its inception, LUCKYNELLY has experimented with unusual surfaces and materials – from cork, wood veneer, and slate to bio-based, waste-based, and next-generation materials.

All designs are developed in Berlin. Unique pieces, prototypes, and select models are created in the LUCKYNELLY studio, while other select styles are produced in collaboration with specialized production partners.

In addition to collaborations with material developers, LUCKYNELLY also develops its own experimental material projects, such as PLANTFUR and BERRIESTEX.

In 2014, LUCKYNELLY received the PETA Germany Vegan Fashion Award in the category "Best Women's Accessory." The brand's work has been featured in publications including British Vogue, ELLE UK, Harper’s Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan, and presented at international Fashion Weeks.

The brand name comes from Lucky and Nelly, who were close to me for many years and significantly inspired LUCKYNELLY's animal-free approach.
