As part of our internationalization project Fashion Forward Network (FFN), the second delegation trip to New York City will take place next week. FFN's overarching goal is to support Berlin fashion brands and tech start-ups in their market entry into the USA and to provide them with relevant, trend-setting business contacts. This year, the delegation trip will also be accompanied by the CEO of the FCG, Christiane Arp, and the Berlin State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Energy and Enterprises, Michael Biel.

The delegation is made up of the twelve fashion brands and tech start-ups AVENIR, DR. BAUM, HADERLUMP, IMPARI, Kasia Kucharska, Natascha von Hirschhausen, PLATTE Berlin, REFRAMD, RICHERT BEIL, SANE Standard, SF1OG und SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE. They receive a week-long program tailored specifically to their needs, which is designed to introduce them to the special features of the US market and includes sales and communication workshops as well as strategic market entry recommendations. They are also brought together with local stakeholders, press representatives and industry experts, enabling them to make international contacts.

The five-day program offers unique experiences and valuable insights into the US market and includes, among other things, various networking events, such as an FCG Fireside Dinner, meetings with industry giants such as the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) or Highsnobiety, tours of the famous Garment District and a sales pitch training followed by a presentation to potential investors.

Fashion Forward Network is a project of the Fashion Council Germany and the innovation platform Sqetch. The initiative is supported by a state program financed by ERDF funds and funds from the state of Berlin.
